JCCEO YES Ambassadors
The JCCEO YES (Youth Empowering Selves) Ambassadors is a theatrical youth group that delivers socially uplifting messages through music and drama. The project began in 1998 as an innovative approach to engage youth in all aspects of stage production and accomplishes this by utilizing their performance skills to discourage destructive lifestyle choices of at-risk youth. The project is unique in that it reaches and engages a diverse group of talented young people, ages 10-18. Auditions for performers are held annually.

JCCEO Breakfast Club
The JCCEO Breakfast Club Project engages middle school students in an effort to inspire, encourage, and expose these young people through mentoring, etiquette training, group discussions, money management, and other beneficial activities. The program meets for one hour before school and provides breakfast for the participants. The projcet is open to all students at participating schools. Male students meet together separately from female students. The project has received wonderful feedback and has proven to be a wonderful addition to any school's curriculum.
JCCEO Real Talk
The JCCEO Real Talk Project supports youth to assess and then propose ways to address problems that affect youth in the community. Through research, surveys, and analyses, youth contribute to solutions to problems faced by their peers and their communities.
Youth Scholarship IDA ProjectThe JCCEO Head Start-Alabama Asset Building Youth Scholarship Individual Development Account (IDA) Project is designed to provide an opportunity for students to invest in a savings program and receive a 2:1 scholarship match to pay for qualified expenses at an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
