PROGRAM GOALS:
1. Ensure that JCCEO Head Start-Early Head Start Program operates an effective and professional program, meeting all Head Start Performance Standards.
2. Maintain DHR Childcare licenses for all centers.
3. Achieve and maintain accreditation of all centers by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
4. Ensure that children and families receive high quality, developmentally appropriate, and comprehensive services.
5. Provide qualified, well-trained staff.
6. Provide a curriculum that encourages skill and social development, and active involvement in the learning process.
7. Teach and develop life skills for both children and parents.
8. Provide indoor and outdoor physical environments to foster optimal growth and development.
9. Protect and enhance the health and safety of children and adults.
10. Meet nutritional needs of children and with parents promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
11. Involve and support parents to enhance their abilities to raise their children and achieve self-sufficiency.
12. Provide exceptional training and support for staff.
13. Form and foster strategic partnerships.
14. Utilize available technology for program support and advancement.
