The JCCEO Adult Day Health Care Center provides programs of activities and supportive services that enable the disabled or older persons to remain in their homes and communities.
We try to provide a cost-effective alternative to functionally impaired adults, making it possible for individuals to remain in a familiar environment in the community. Our primary purpose as adult day care providers is to protect participants for whom day care is an appropriate part of a case plan, assist participants who live alone and are threatened with institutionalization, provide respite for the caregiver, assist the participant who cannot be left at home, improve the client's physical and/or mental condition.
We offer a sophisticated level of services that enables some clients to bypass nursing homes. The program combats loneliness and depression by helping seniors remain active in their community.
The Adult Day Care Program activities include health education, health screening, arts and crafts, and weekly shopping trips or field trips.
